How We Help

If you’re like us, nothing matters more than family. Since the day we opened our doors, Kelleher & Buckley, LLC has been helping families plan for a secure and protected future.

One of the biggest challenges families must confront after losing a loved one is proper administration of that person’s estate or trust. Since 1997, our attorneys have served as trusted guides, helping families navigate the complex process of estate and trust administration.

Losing a loved one is hard. The task of distributing your loved one’s assets can cause additional stress if not handled properly. There are very specific laws governing the administration of an estate, which can be very confusing to anyone not familiar with the process. Our goal at Kelleher & Buckley, LLC is to ease the burden on those who have just lost a loved one. We have assembled a dedicated team to guide you through that process.

Estate Administration

Estate Administration is the process of managing and distributing assets when a loved one passes away without any advanced estate planning, which requires court involvement called Probate.  Probate proceedings are highly regulated and can bring additional costs, delays of settlement and loss of privacy if not administered properly.  Administering an estate can be an emotional process, but our estate administration attorneys act as personal counselors, and we take very seriously our responsibilities as such. Our seasoned lawyers work diligently and efficiently, so you are left with the maximum value of the estate.

Trust Administration

Trust Administration is the process of managing and distributing assets when a loved one passes away with a trust plan in place. Trust administration has several working parts, so Kelleher & Buckley works as your guide through the process.  Our attorneys also work with your advisors, such as your accountant, insurance advisor and financial advisor to create a synchronized plan to meet the goals and needs of both the estate and the beneficiaries.

Meet Our Team of Experienced Estate & Trust Administration Attorneys

After a tremendous 22 years together, David Buckley and Andrew Kelleher, founding members of Kelleher & Buckley, LLC, have decided to amicably split into two distinct law firms. The creation of these new firms will allow each company to follow their individual roadmap to success and maximize their clients’ experience.

We are excited to announce both partnerships: K&B equity member Robert Holland will partner with Andrew Kelleher to form Kelleher + Holland, LLC. Similarly, equity member Linda Fine will join David Buckley to create Buckley Fine, LLC. All of our current attorneys, paralegals and staff will be taking this journey with us.

The separation is effective September 1, 2020, at which point Kelleher & Buckley will no longer be providing legal services. During this transition, you can continue to expect the high quality of service you have always received from us as we shift to our new partnerships. Current and past clients, please check your email for additional details.

In the meantime, we have developed an FAQ to address any general questions you may have. As always, please feel free to contact us with any specific questions or concerns.

Thank you for your loyalty over the last 20+ years; we appreciate your support during this transition and look forward to advising you in the future.
